The original structure was one of the first homes in Squaw Valley and was featured in Sunset Magazine in 1958 as an “Idea Cabin”. This home/design was one of the first prow-front designed homes to be built.

This unique Squaw Valley project was a re-build of an original home designed by noteworthy local architect Henrik Bull in the 1950’s. The clients consulted with Henrik Bull in his final years and then worked to re-create an updated version of his original masterpiece while maintaining many of the original design details. All of theclear, redwood siding was salvaged and re-used as wall paneling throughout the interior of the house. The home captures endless sun from the southern sky and beautiful views of Red Dog Ridge. Boardform concrete walls, natural oak flooring, Miele appliances.
